The Skinny On Supplements
There’s a lot of garbage out there about supplements and about how different ones are supposedly good for different purposes, and certain brands are better than other ones and blah blah blah.
I really don’t care what they say. I care about real results on real people. Not bodybuilders jacked up on steroids or superhumans with abnormal genetics. I mean real, average people. People like you and me.
I’ll be honest with you. I haven’t done years of extensive testing or anything like that. I won’t lie to you. I can’t be bothered. I let someone else do the work for me, and I just take whatever he tells me to!
The person I go to for all of my supplement questions is the “Muscle Nerd” Jeff Anderson. He’s seen behind the scenes of the supplement industry, and this guy is seriously a “Muscle Nerd”. He’s gone and actually tested supplements and even come up with his own highly effective (more effective than the supplements you buy in the store) supplement recipes.
First thing’s first. Like I said, Jeff is the man when it comes to supplements. You want supplements, you wanna learn from him. So first of all, here’s a free supplement review guide from Jeff that you can download and check out right now:

Second, Jeff has put together a guide to making your own supplements for pennies on the dollar. You can literally save thousands of dollars a year by making your own supplements. He shows you what you need and how to make em, and also the best places to get the ingredients necessary for the supplements.
Seriously, if you want to know what supplements to take for whatever your fitness goals are (he’s got recipes for em all!), then you should check it out. It’s $27, but you’ll save that much the first month of supplementation because you won’t have wasted your money on a $60+ bottle of supplements.

Third, let me tell you that I don’t make all of my supplements. I buy supplements from a place called Prograde Nutrition. I like Prograde because they’ve got really good supplements, they are an honest company, they have things that I can’t make at home (like their Prograde Cravers – amazing snack bars and actually healthy, not like the garbage in the grocery stores) and lastly, because sometimes I’m just too lazy and don’t want to make my own supplements.
Prograde has a range of supplements and snack bars, all of which are top notch and recommended by all the top fitness experts. One thing I really like is the auto-ship option. I chose one time what supplements and snack bars I wanted, and now every month I get them shipped to me without having to do anything.
I just keep going with my daily activities and suddenly I’ve got everything I need for the next month (of course my credit card is charged automatically – they won’t give me the stuff for free for some reason).
I absolutely love em, and they’re the only place I get supplements from (other than the ones I make and the ingredients I get from the guys Jeff recommends).

That’s pretty much it when it comes to supplements. Just get the supplements that Jeff talks about for whatever fitness goals you’re trying to achieve. Either make em yourself, or go grab some from Prograde if you’re lazy like me (and get some Prograde Cravers – great for snacks and what not. I really do like them)
I’ll post some more stuff in the future about supplements and post some videos for you, but for now this should be enough to get you going with the proper supplements.
